	A number of us  here  are  considering  the  desirability  of
starting  and  independent  graduate  school  of computer science.  I
would like to discuss it with you as soon as is convenient  for  you.
The  reasons and a start on a plan are in IGSCS.PLN[ESS,JMC], but the
general idea is that Stanford won't expand computer science and there
are lots of good people coming up who should do teaching and research
in computer science.  The present stage is one of determining whether
the idea is feasible.
